Bradford C. Allen, DDS
Dr. Allen grew up in Idaho, earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Idaho State University in 2002. He attended the Medical College of Virginia (Virginia Commonwealth University), graduating Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2006. Following dental school, Dr. Allen was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force and completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington DC. This residency allowed him to expand his clinical knowledge and experience in all areas of dentistry. He offers a wide range of dental services including fillings, crowns and bridges, implant crowns, Invisalign clear braces, sedation and dental surgery, including wisdom teeth extractions. Dr. Allen loves Alaska because of the wonderful people and the many outdoor activities available here. He is an avid skier and is a member of the Anchorage Ski Club. He volunteers with Big Brothers and Big Sisters Alaska and donates dental services to the UAA Free Dental Day. He is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserves on JBER and overseas the Dental Program at the 477th Fighter Group. He is passionate about dentistry and loves making people smile. He believes a healthy mouth is an important component to a healthy and happy you!
Courtney J. Burrill, DDS
Dr. Burrill grew up in Colorado, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from University of Colorado-Boulder in 2004. For 4 years she taught high school biology while raising her family and supporting her husband and his career in the US Air Force. In 2008 she was able to follow her dreams of becoming a dentist and attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California where she graduated in 2012 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). Following dental school, Dr. Burrill was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Air Force and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV. During her final active duty assignment at JBER she and her family fell in love with Alaska and chose to make Alaska their home. Dr. Burrill continues to serve her country as a dentist in the Alaska Air National Guard.
Dr. Burrill loves Alaska because of the amazing people and the endless adventure and beauty that Alaska offers. In her free time she likes to stay busy and involved with her three amazing kids. She also enjoys staying active and competing in local running/triathalon events (Mayor’s ½ marathon, Zombie ½ marathon, Gold Nugget Triathlon, etc…). She enjoys volunteering with Special Olympics Alaska, Eagle River Junior Nordic, and coaching youth volleyball. She is passionate about dentistry and loves helping others with their amazing smiles. Her goal is to continually strive to make a positive difference in the community by using her skills as a dentist to continue to serve her country and better the lives of Alaskans.
Robert MacArthur III, DMD
Originally from a small rural town in Tennessee, Dr. MacArthur earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a double major in Theological Studies from Saint Louis University. Soon thereafter he attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health earning a dual degree with a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) and Masters in Public Health (MPH) in 2013. After graduation from dental school he pursued a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through the Air Force which allowed him to expand his clinical knowledge and skill set in all aspects of dentistry.
During and after dental school Dr. MacArthur participated in several dental humanitarian trips to remote and underserved areas of Alaska, Arizona, Uganda and the Dominican Republic. Dr. MacArthur’s experience in bush Alaska left such a lasting impression on him that he decided to move to here in 2014. In addition to working in our office, Dr. MacArthur continues to travel to remote areas of Alaska to provide much needed dental care throughout the year as a TDY public health dentist with the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC) as well as working in private practice in the Aleutian Islands of Dutch Harbor/Unalaska!
Dr. MacArthur enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry including pediatric dentistry, fixed prosthodontics (crowns and bridges), IV and oral sedation, dental surgery including wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry to include veneers and teeth whitening, urgent care dentistry, orthodontics, root canals, and adjunctive treatments for patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, severe grinding/bruxism and TMJ pain. He enjoys working on patients of all ages including children, special needs patients and patients with dental phobias. A personal connection with his patients and coworkers, an appreciation of honest, ethical work, and excellent patient outcomes are the guiding principles he uses in his approach and practice of dentistry.
Dr. MacArthur enjoys balancing work with spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, hiking and camping throughout Alaska, running, traveling, reading, personal/spiritual development, and going on international dental humanitarian trips as well as participating in local community service opportunities such as the Alaska Mission of Mercy. Dr. MacArthur is an active member of the Alaska Dental Society as well as the American Dental Association.
Lyndi, Office Manager
Cameronn grew up in Southern Oregon where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene as well as a minor in business in 2009. The day after she graduated, she left on a 3 day journey to Alaska with her husband, Cole. Eagle River, is now their home where they plan raise their children. They were blessed with a daughter, Lily, in 2011 and a son, Tristan, in 2014. Cameronn has served as the secretary for the Alaska Dental Hygiene Association as well as the Vice President of the Cook Inlet Dental Hygiene Association. For 2 years she regularly made trips to the remote village, Naknek, providing dental services to this underserved area. Although Cameronn does not consider herself an outdoors girl, she loves Alaska and the way her life has been enriched with amazing bonds of friendship that only come from living here in “The Last Frontier.”
A new smile changed Cameronn’s life so she knows first hand how important and impactful your smile is in your everyday life. That is what drew her to a career in helping people find confidence and joy in their healthy smiles.
